Cara here on Friday,
A quick post-Bouchercon blog mate round up. I saw Ann Parker in passing rushing outside in the Indianapolis cold and got to chat with Sharan before Charlaine Harris grabbed her to catch a taxi to the airport. Poor Sharan's contact's gave her trouble and she was blinking a lot. If Rhys was there I missed her. My big thrill was having our
Soho author dinner at a German Rathskellar built by Kurt Vonnegut's grandfather with
Peter Lovesey, Leighton Gage, Martin Limon, Stuart Neville and James Benn and our publicist Justin. My favorite panel was the one Leighton moderated on Foreign Settings. Lee Child's Reacher party was too noisy so we hung out with DAvid the bookseller from Houston's Murder by the Book and Scott Phillips at the hotel bar.
Ok the namedropping is over but kudo's to Jim Huang for running a great Bcon.
Evidently Im getting a call from my Israeli publishers who want to interview me for the release of Murder in the Marais in Hebrew. I don't know much more because their website is all in Hebrew. Quite a puzzle to me, anyone read Hebrew?
Have a bon weekend,
