It's 2012!
This is the time of year when everyone makes their resolutions -
I asked Bobby (2) what his resolution was - no kidding he answered, "Bobby happy."
Tommy (4) said, "Uh...um...I'm going to be good. Yeah. I'm going to be a good boy." (then immediately his eyes shifted toward the couch and he used it as he own personal trampoline.)
Carmen (8) listed a bunch of things she was going to "win" - she is very competitive.
Below are a few recents snaps of the kids - you can tell me who you think will keep they're resolutions....(Personally, I'm betting on Carmen and Bobby - Tommy...good? Hmmm - we'll see. Right now I have to put the cushions back on the trampoline..un, I mean couch.)
Now it's your turn - I want to hear your New Years Resolutions!

I resolve every day to be a better person than I was the previous day. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I'm a work in progress. Wishing you and yours all the best for 2012, Diana.

I've been getting up early before work to write--four days in a row, even with a cold!
Resolutions are tricky--you have to make a plan to back them up, or they stay in wish territory.
I think Bobby is wise beyond his years. "Happy" should be enough of a resolution any time of year!!!
Wishing you much success and happy in the coming year!

Mysti - you are right! Resolutions need "action triggers" getting up before work to write is a good one. And yes, Bobby surprised me - but it is exactly what he said.
Warm Regards,

Great kids. I wonder which one has the greatest will power and who they get it from?

Great Resolution Kelly.
Maddy - it's most definitely Carmen who has the most willpower - she gets it from Dad!

I love Bobby's resolution -- just the one word, but it's also such a huge concept!
My resolutions are to write every day, eat more vegetables, and exercise more. I'm pretty sure those were my resolutions last year, too, but if I just do a little better each year, eventually I'll reach my goals.

Somehow my comment got lost --but nothing original. Your kids are adorable and I'm going to use all their resolutions.

Thanks Ladies for the comments and compliments. Bobby surprised me this morning by springing up and announcing, "I'm happy." Not only was I surprised because of this post, but also he has not used the pronoun "I" in reference to himself yet. So Yippee!
And Staci - I think I have the same resolutions as you - and yes, I think they were the same ones as last year! Oh dear!
Well, let's offer each other support this year!
