I'm going off-topic today to post about technology tools that I find help me.
I always get asked the question, “How do you find the time to write?” My standard answer is "I make the time," which is true. However, I do have some cool tech tools that I love and help my productivity. Here are a few favorites:
My absolute favorite is that I am here it's the Iogear Mobile Digital Scribe. It’s a wireless pen.
You can write on any paper you like, you simply attached the reciever at the top of the paper and write. The reciever stores your notes on it's little chip and then you hook it to your computer via USB. You can import the notes as image or you can have the software that comes with the pen translated your writing into text.
I love this because I enjoy writing longhand, especially for first drafts. Somehow it frees my mind and I can write more stream of consciousness. And one of the best feature is that it's portable.
A second technology tool that I love is my mini recorder
It's also portable and I can dictate my scenes into it when I drive. Or when I am pacing around my house. I then upload the files to my computer and use Dragon software to transcribe.
Do you have a technology that you love? I’m so envious of those with Iphones and iPads. Tell me what features it might have that I could use or if you have technology tricks that can help others be more productive.

I have an earlier version of that pen, Diana -- impressive even then.
I do love my iPhone -- I have a Notes app, but more often I simply send myself an email with a great idea! Another little piece of software that I love is my Stickies software on my iMac. However, just having finished the Jobs bio, I feel way behind!
