OH, THOSE DETAILS
This coming week, we are going to turn our focus on those "telling details." Details are important, whether you're talking writing, architecture, engineering, physics, or raising children or living life.
"Your purpose is to make your audience see what you saw, hear what you heard, feel what you felt. Relevant detail, couched in concrete, colorful language, is the best way to recreate the incident as it happened and to picture it for the audience."~ Dale Carnegie

David Hockney once said about details, more telling about his personality than not: "I stay up nights and fiddle with my opera designs. It's a bit obsessive. That's why I can't do it all the time."
