The end of the year is a great time to reflect back, and not just to the year as a whole, but to the larger picture of life as well. (Okay, I'm thinking that at age 19 or 20 or so, this wouldn't have been my focus for this time of year. It's hard to remember, but I believe I was probably more interested in what the snow was like for skiing or what classes I had coming up for winter term...)
And thank goodness for iPhoto: I can flip through last year's images and reflect back on all that went on. With all the time that's passed, it's often difficult to remember last February, for example (anyone else have this problem?).
In any case, here are a few of my favorite "reflections" from 2013 (apologies for the slow loading. There *are* pluses to old-fashioned photo albums...). You'll note an absence of people, but that's not because I don't care! Opting for privacy for those involved, I've chosen images that bring them to me rather than splat photos of those who are near and dear all over the internet.
Wishing you and yours a wonderful 2014 ... with lots of good books to read, coffee/tea to drink, and friends and family to share the good times and help you through the tough times!
