- Michael A. Black has a busy few months ahead of him! He's giving a speech, "The History of the Mystery," at the Tinley Park, IL Library at 7 PM on Tuesday, June 3rd, and then he's on a panel ("Violence in Writing") at the Chicago Tribune's Printer's Row Bookfair on June 7th and 8th. He'll also be signing copies of his books at the MWA tent during the bookfair. And on top of it all, he's one of the organizers of the upcoming Public Safety Writer's Association conference in July. It's a small, welcoming conference with great programming and attendees.
- The rest of the LadyKiller are variously writing, vacationing, and planning for a slate of conferences, including PSWA, Comic Con, ThrillerFest, and of course Bouchercon in Long Beach in November.
Speaking of conferences, we'll be talking all about them next week. Please share your favorite con stories with us. And remember, about two-thirds of the way through any conference or convention, when you get that crazy exhausted/restless feeling, it's just Con Fever--everyone gets it sooner or later.
Get a drink of water, take a walk, or rest in your room for twenty minutes, and it'll pass. Definitely don't make any important decisions when in the grips of Con Fever--nothing more important than where you'll eat for dinner!
