- Ann Parker finished and handed in her final changes for the uncorrected proof of What Gold Buys while visiting family on the East Coast. After a short break to catch her breath, she hurried back to the West Coast. Her luggage, alas, decided it needed a longer break and hid out somewhere in Ft. Lauderdale before returning home.
- Camille Minichino facilitates a decades-old mystery reading group, now held at the Castro Valley, CA library. This Tuesday, 5/3 Peter May’s The Blackhouse is up for discussion. Also, May 1, Sluething Women goes on sale. Camille's The Hydrogen Murder is one of the 10 First-in-Series novels in the set.
- Michael A. Black and Mysti Berry are working on the conference schedule and workshop for the Public Safety Writers Association's yearly conference in Las Vegas, July 14-17.
- Hannah Jayne says goodbye to The LadyKillers for now, as she must tend to a new book and a baby's imminent arrival. We love you Hannah, best of luck, and come back to visit anytime!
Sure, we all wish we were reading Shakespeare and Munro and James Joyce 24/7, but we aren't.
