How is it that 19th century Leadville seems so much more interesting than 21st century anywhere? Maybe it's your stellar research and writing?

Interesting post, Ann. Con men (and women) have been around forever, and places like Leadville would have provided a fertile field for their activities leaving a trail of broken dreams.
