Michael Black finished reviewing the ARC for his new novel, Blood Trails, which is coming out in July. He's now working on an article and a new short story, "Carnivores and Herbivores."
As of Saturday afternoon, Ann Parker has tipped over the 50-page mark on Silver Rush Book #6 (no title, but she's beginning to get some ideas...). With luck, by the time this post goes live on Sunday, she'll have reached page 60.
As for the rest of the LadyKillers, they are busybusybusy, no doubt following the edict for next week's topic, which is:
GET READY, GET SET, WRITE!!
People on the outside think there’s something magical about writing, that you go up in the attic at midnight and cast the bones and come down in the morning with a story, but it isn’t like that. You sit in back of the typewriter and you work, and that’s all there is to it. ~Harlan Ellison
So, how difficult is it to get into (and stay in) the "writing mode?" Grab your favorite cuppa and join the LadyKillers this week to find out how this particular subset of writers does it...
