Very well said, Carole. The Bard really had a way with words, didn't he? It's amazing how many of his idioms are still with us. If only I could come up with something as memorable... Ah, there's the rub.


And some of these sound so "current" to me (lie low being one of them). It always pays to check when writing historically, because one never knows. Since you write contemporary, Carole, you can use whatever you want!
I think there's another Shakespeare in the Vineyard book that needs to be written and incorporating those idioms! :-)
