Good observations about creating suspense, Staci. I know how you feel. There's no greater feeling than reading something that you've written and thinking it wasn't half-bad, even when you know what's going to happen.

That's so true, Michael. I sometimes ask myself why I'm so caught up in a scene when I already know how it ends, but then, I occasionally reread favorite books and always get swept up in the story as if I'm reading it for the first time.
