Our big news: After lo, these many years, the LadyKillers are "hanging up their collective hats" and bringing the group blog to an end. It's been fun, folks! These next two weeks, each blogger will have the opportunity to reflect and project, as the theme is "Looking Back, Looking Forward." Be sure and drop by with your favorite cuppa as we roll toward the end of the year.

Michael A. Black was able to finish two novels and sent them off last week. After breathing a sigh of relief, he's working on a couple of articles, a short story, and preparing the program for the Public Safety Writer's Conference, which will be in Las Vegas from July 11-15th.
- Ellen Kirschman is thrilled that Pat Holt, former book editor of the SF Chronicle, is writing a 3 part review of her Dot Meyerhoff series. Read Parts 1 and 2 at holtuncensored.com.

Margaret Lucke has just returned from a week in Beijing, which was a wonderful trip. Amazingly, she is not jet-lagged.
- Ann Parker turned in the proofing changes to A DYING NOTE and is feeling light and festive. Consumption of chocolate and coffee... simultaneously whenever possible...commenced immediately accompanied by the playing of holiday music at top volume and the impulsive decorating of windows (see below).
Holiday doings
- Camille's working on mini lights for a dollhouse that's front-and-center-where-a-tree-would be.
- Ellen's husband will cook a traditional Iowa Christmas dinner for friends.
- The only holiday decorating Margaret has accomplished thus far is an evergreen spray on the front door. Soon she'll set the Tchaikovsky-style nutcracker on the mantel, bring in a pointsettia or two, and place some vases of evergreen branches in various rooms to make the place look festive for visiting family.
- After turning in her proofing catches and collapsing for a few days, Ann went into a frantic spate of hanging lights in the windows, after which she did a little gift wrapping while watching White Christmas to get into the mood... ho ho ho!
